Artist Bio

Riley Michelle McIlvaine is a South Louisiana artist specializing in painting and drawing. She predominantly practices perceptual paintings of still-life and interior spaces. 

Riley graduated from Nicholls State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, concentrating in Painting and Drawing, in December 2024.

​Riley taught youths at a locally established art and music academy from 2021 to 2024, which ignited a fire to educate people of all ages about the creation and freedom of expression through art. 

She currently works as a Ceramic Studio Assistant, creating one-of-a-kind keepsakes for children, furthering her exploration and passion for the medium.
